GIUSEPPE ARRÈ

I started studying piano at a very young age and continued until I graduated in violin
and viola at the Conservatory. I have participated in numerous performances with
different chamber groups and orchestras, giving concerts both in Italy and abroad. I
also made recordings and tours with the renowned orchestra of the "Petruzelli Theater
in Bari"
The passion for music and stringed instruments gave me the motivation to study at
the International Violin Making School in Parma. After graduating under the expert
guidance of Maestro Scrollavezza, I opened my shop in the city of Cremona where I
deal with the construction, maintenance and restoration of string instruments.
Looking at the great masters of the past I try to transfer taste and character to my
instruments, preserving spontaneity and personality, without ever forgetting the final
goal of any instrument: how it sounds.
