PRIMO PISTONI

-Profile-
Primo Pistoni was born in Cremona-Italy in 1957.

From 1971 to 1975 he attend to the International violin-making

school of his city,were was graduated under training of M° G.B.

Morassi.

He like to make new instruments ( violins,violas and v.cellos) and take part to

several national and international competition, winning numerous prize.

From 1995 he is member of "Entente Internationale des Maitres

Luthiers et Archetiers d'Art".

He was member of Jury of several International Competition like

Paris in 1999 and 2004, Cremona ( 2000), Mittenwald ( 2001),

Poznan ( 2011), Beijing (2013), Cleveland ( V.S.A.) 2018.

In the 2001 the great violin virtuoso,M° Ruggiero Ricci invite him

to take part a recording of CD named "The Legacy of Cremona",

togheter others 17 contemporary violin-makers selected around the world.

M° Ricci played with contemporary violins some classical passage

for to show sound caracteristics of every instrument.

He lives and work in Cremona country and goes on to made and repair violin

and violas for players of Europe, Asia, U.S.A.
